Carl Nicholson is in the studio with me today for two days starting a new hard dance track.The vocal is by my very good friend Lucy Clarke and the track is coming along nicely.The riff is complete and the breakdown is almost there .Tomorrow is working on arrangement and applying the finishing touches. Lunch for me was a smoked ham and mustard sandwich from Tesco and dinner was the remainder of last night’s Chinese with some extra chips.

Second day in the studio with Carl, were progressing well with our ‘Infinity’ track up until about 1:30pm when Cuebase went nuts and kicked me out. Then it wouldn’t let me re-open the file so I had to work off the back up file and re-input everything I had already done for the last 3 hours. What a bitch! However by 7:30pm we had the track near enough complete and all it needs now is the final touches. A very stressful day today and I’m totally exhausted, just dropped Carl off at the train station and am watching Eastenders. Need to mellow my brain!!!!

In Ipswich today at Breezy’s to start a new dirty track for the next Clubland Extreme album. Stopped for petrol on the way and bought a Mars Duo as id had no breakfast it went down very well J. As usual I end up wanting all of the lovely plug-ins that Breezy has so each time I leave I’m in debt within a week!!The track went well; it’s turned out to be a techy / hardstyle sound with a heavy triplet riff and a distorted female vocal .Going for a Kidd Kaos type style on this one. Went to the sandwich shop for lunch, I had a cheese, ham and coleslaw roll which was amazing. Also had some cheese and chive crisps. Back there again tomorrow. One downside is my hard drive wouldn’t switch on so will have to buy a new one .......!!!!!

Oh yes yet another mars duo went down very well on the way to Breezy’s this morning J.Cracked on with the Hardcore Tune today, it’s turned into a hybrid hardstyle / hardcore track and is sounding tasty but is very challenging. Also had a listen to Breezy’s set at The Sanctuary Fest last year on you tube and heard him playing my Perfect Dreams track. He wants me to re-master it for another potential Clubland Extreme track as it didn’t make it on last year so it’s all very exciting.Went to Wimpy for lunch in Stowmarket as Breezy’s favourite cafe were taking 40 min’s to get fry ups cooked, disappointing but the Wimpy quarter pounder with cheese was gooooood!!!

Didn’t get in the studio today as I had loads of other bits and pieces to do that took up most of my day. Amber D was scheduled in but couldn’t make it so was out and about looking at properties and Colchester as I think it’s time for a move. Arranged three estate agents to come over Monday to value my house so well see where we are then.
